Web Design for Gratitude Health – A Startup Brand of Blood Sugar Management Supplements
The recent project to redesign the Shopify website for Gratitude Health marked a significant transformation in how the brand presented itself online and interacted with its customers. As a startup company, Gratitude Health was the brainchild of Justin Richards, a social media health influencer well known for his blood sugar tests, with over 2MM followers. It was decided early during the project to minimize his personal brand presence on the website, and instead focus more on the “Gratitude Health” brand.
Background and Scope
To understand why this redesign was critical, it’s important to grasp what led up to it. The original Gratitude Health website was commissioned by the brand owner, and it just didn’t serve its purpose. It was difficult to navigate, didn’t have any relevant information, had no branding or cohesion, and most importantly, it was not designed for conversion. The color palette previously selected did not match in any way the branding of Gratitude Health. Our feedback pointed towards more intuitive navigation, faster loading times, easier checkout processes, and overall a more aesthetically pleasing interface that matched the vibrancy of the brand.

The high-converting landing and product pages reached the top 10% among Shopify stores in terms of conversion rate. The unprecedented result from this effort was that this brand – a brand new startup – SOLD OUT of product inventory within 10 days after the launch of the site for an average order value of around $100 per initial order.
